Netwrix, a cybersecurity vendor that makes data security easy, today announced the acquisition of New Net Technologies (NNT), a software manufacturer that provides change, configuration, vulnerability and asset management solutions.
This addition to the Netwrix product portfolio will further help customers improve identification and protection against cybersecurity threats. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This acquisition is an exciting shift for both companies, as it accelerates their ability to meet the increased privacy, security and governance demands of organizations worldwide. NNT customers will gain access to the Netwrix product portfolio, which offers complementary security and compliance solutions that will help them identify and mitigate data security risks, as well as protect against, respond to and recover from cybersecurity attacks.
At the same time, Netwrix will expand its technical capabilities in the Identify and Protect functions of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and accelerate its commitment to solving cybersecurity challenges. Specifically, Netwrix customers will be able to benefit from NNT’s portfolio of change, configuration, vulnerability and asset management solutions to faster identify security gaps and better protect against threats.
